The Department  of Geospatial & Space Technology held a special Seminar on 11th May 2018,

Dr.-Ing.Faith N .Karanja Opening the EALAN Seminar.

where the contents of several courses recently attended by University of Nairobi Staff at EALAN (Eastern Africa Land Administration Network) was shared with other staff members and students, including staff & students from Geospatial & Space Technology, Real Estate , School of arts and design (ADD) and Department of Urban and Regional Planning(DURP).

Some of these courses were; Land Governance, Administration and ADR,Access to Land by Women and other Vulnerable Groups, Training Needs Assessment, Grant Proposal Writing, Research Skills and the 5C Monitoring and Evaluation Tool. This was a one day seminar which exposed the other staff members and students to the activities of EALAN.
