The Geospatial Engineering Students’ Association (GESA) celebrated its Sports Week between March
12th and 14th 2025. The University of Nairobi grounds hosted the event which united students while
promoting health and breaking academic routines through competitive and non-competitive games.
The Sports Week competitions this year brought intense matches that attracted energetic fan
participation through loud cheering. The first-year male football team brought awe to spectators by
winning against the final-year team in the championship match which demonstrated their deep passion
alongside excellent teamwork.
