The department over years has been holding the end of the year party .The main agenda is to bring the staffs together and to have a moment of reflecting how the year has been.This year ,the department has marked remarkable milestone as part of its mandate.

This year the department had a privilege to sent 6 students and two members of staff to Germany for for an exchange programme themed has "Learning from each other during the preparation of digital teaching material for blended learning at three universities – Germany, South Africa and Kenya"

This years celebration was bigger and better compared to the previous celebrations.It was widely attended by proffessionals all over the various organisations practicing Geospatial in the country.Among them were representatives from:Orkar services limited,RCMRD,LIMA LABS,NEMA,ISK,among others.

There's a lot in-store, including but not limited to:

- Networking sessions with other students and potential employers
- Exhibitions from top geo-tech companies
- Panel discussions with seasoned experts in the industry
