Conserving Nairobi's' river basins

Land is arguably one of the most important natural resource in the country. Land especially in cities and urban areas is one of the most sought after commodity, basing on the number of land buying and selling companies and the rate of inflation of prices. Riparian land can be termed as land bordering water bodies such as rivers, streams and lakes. The term “Riparian Land’’ raised quite a stir recently when the government started demolitions of buildings deemed to be built on Riparian Land.

5 TH YEAR FINAL PROJECT PRESENTATION 2021

The Department of Geospatial and Space Technology, University of Nairobi held the Final 5th Year Project Presentation on Tuesday  25  February, 2021. Students were given five minutes each, to orally defend their theses. This is a  requirement of the University in partial fulfillment of the award of Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Engineering. It is an examination where a panel of examiners interact with the students through listening, and question & answer basis for each of the students. There were three panels of examiners, and three groups of sixteen students for each panel.
