The University of Nairobi ,Department of Geospatial and Space Technology in conjunction  with Geospatial Advocacy Kenya,held a training in the University of Nairobi Towers on 25th January 2020.This session was meant to prepare the students  for the County Government App Challenge by exposing them to some of the popular technologies that one can use to build a location-based app on web and mobile.

In this session, The students  used  Mapbox to learn how to publish an interactive web map using Mapbox Studio and Mapbox JS GL. They were also  exposed to the new ArcGIS StoryBuilder  to develop a story map for one of Kenya's counties.
