Description of Conference

This Conference, which will be a precursor to ISK 2013 AGM, is aimed at enlightening members on how the new constitutional and legal dispensation in a devolved system of government will affect the practice of the professionals under ISK. The Session will be specific to each of the ISK Chapter and will be delivered by experienced professionals from these Chapters. Members to earn 10 CPD points.

 

Opening Plenary Session: 8.30 am- 9.00 am

           

Opening Session: Why ISK Members need to change their orientation in new dispensation, Collins Kowuor, ISK Chairman

  • Building Surveyors Chapter: New legislation and how they affect the building surveying practice, Catherine Kariuki

 

  • Geospatial Surveyors: Incorporation of modern surveying techniques in line with new land laws; Use of GPS ,Dr. Sammy Musyoka

 

  • Land Management Surveyors  Chapter: Role of Land Officers in the new dispensation, Mr. Ronald Matende

 

  • Valuation & Estate Management Chapter: Enhancement of practices using ICT in the new dispensation , Stephen Omengo

ISK Annual General Meeting: Open to Members only from 1.30pm (No Charges)

Annual Dinner Dance: From 7.30pm, Confirmation of attendance of the dinner should be made at the Secretariat by payment of Kshs: 5,000/= per pax on or before 19th April 2013.
