University of Nairobi Field Sation, Kibwezi
The Department of Geospatial and Space Technology held the 2015 Geospatial Engineering Camp from the 29/04/2015 to 13/05/2015 at the University of Nairobi’s Kibwezi Field Station.

This is an examinable unit where students on completion of their 4th academic year, are taken through the Geospatial Engineering Profession’s real life experiences; a rigorous process that prepares students to be able to undertake and implement various Geospatial Engineering Projects to their completion.
Vast financial resources are utilized for mobilization of staff, transportation to and from Kibwezi and within the Survey areas, and all this is an effort by the Department and the University that is geared towards enriching and enabling the students to handle and manage various situations in their professional work.
